Hey Besties! I’m Shon—the woman behind The Resource Plug.

I created this space because I genuinely enjoy helping people find information that can make everyday life a little easier. Too many helpful programs, benefits, financial tools, and opportunities go unused simply because people don’t know they exist—or because nobody took the time to explain them in a way that makes sense.

That’s where I come in.

I research and share practical information about money, credit, taxes, refunds, helpful programs, side hustles, digital resources, and those little-known gems people often say, “Why didn’t anybody tell me about this?”

I believe information should be clear, realistic, and accessible to everyday people. You shouldn’t need a special degree, a dictionary, or three cups of coffee just to understand how something works. My goal is to break things down, point you in the right direction, and help you make informed decisions for yourself and your family.
