Deferit

Here is my personal review for using Deferit USA. But Firstly let me tell you what exactly is Deferit.
So, this company is a budgeting tool that helps you manage some of your bills by allowing you to pay them in 4 installments. If you are familiar with apps such as Zip, Afterpay, and Klarna then Deferit is similar. The only difference is you’re not purchasing items. You are getting your bills paid in full upfront. They offer 2 types of plans
1: Installment Plan- This is when your bill is broken down into four easy-to-manage payments over 2 months.
2: One-time Payment Plan- This is when you pay the full amount at once.
HOW IT WORKS:
You 1st have to sign up to see if you are eligible to use their services. A soft pull on your credit report May be done ( this does not hurt your credit) or verify your income by using Plaid to link your bank. You also must be 18 years or older plus be able to verify your identity. Once all info is successfully verified, you are given a spending limit which ranges anywhere from $300 to $500 and will increase gradually as long as you keep a positive account and use it often.
Now that you are approved and given a spending amount you can upload a bill to be paid. NOTE: Not all bills can be used with Deferit. A few for example are credit cards, furniture bills, loans, car notes, retail purchases, etc. The most common bills that they pay are utility bills (gas, water, electricity, internet, etc.), rent, and vehicle registrations (DMV), they also will look at veterinary bills, medical bills, educational bills, dental fees, insurance and more! So keep that in mind when uploading a bill.
You can only use the amount of your spending limit. So if your limit is $300 and your bill is $400 they will pay your bill up to $300 and you will be responsible for the remaining balance that’s due to your provider. Deferit also charges a monthly fee of $14.99 for using their services.
Another wonderful aspect of using Deferit is the peace of mind it brings. By giving you the flexibility to pay in installments, you can avoid late fees and penalties that might otherwise be incurred if you were unable to pay a bill in full by its due date. This can be incredibly helpful when unexpected expenses arise or when you’re waiting for your paycheck to come in.
Additionally, Deferit is designed to be user-friendly and convenient. Their platform is easy to navigate, allowing you to quickly set up payment plans and track your progress. The process is hassle-free, saving you time and effort. Plus, their customer support team is always available to assist you via Facebook messenger for a quicker response with any questions or concerns that may arise.
Overall, it sounds like Deferit is a great tool for managing your bills in a way that works best for you. Offering the flexibility to pay in four installments, helps make your financial life easier, more organized, and less stressful. Keep enjoying the convenience, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else!
